We have a dynamic duo for today's 5@5 with Camerata by way of cellist, Rory Smith and pianist, Alex Raineri.

Rory was a member of the Upbeat artist program in 2019 and recently graduated from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours from a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree under the tutelage of Patrick Murphy.

Alex Raineri is a well-known Brisbane based soloist and also Artistic Director of the Brisbane Music Festival.

Today Rory and Alex perform the 2nd movement of Pohadka by Czech composer, Leoš Janáček. Did you know Janáček was a long-standing friend and admirer of Dvořák and had dedicated a number of his compositions to him?
