Introduced by Shannon, our Artistic Associate on Cello, filmed in West Village, this 5@5 is a flashback to the beautiful recital given by our violinist Anne Horton and Alex Raineri at the Museum of Brisbane in July.

This episode features the final movement of the Cesar Franck Sonata for Violin and Piano – one of the great Sonatas in the repertoire and written by Franck as a wedding gift to the great violinist Ysaye and his intended, Louise Bordeaux. This glorious and stunning canon is arguably why this piece is such an evergreen part of the repertoire.
